Where did we end the last post? Barstow, California, right? Well from there you just do what you always do when you’re in California. Enjoy life and head out to the coast.

Via #SanBernardino to #Venice. All in #California. #ontheroad

I eventually reached my stay for the next two nights, the Samesun Hostel in Venice Beach. This was the view from my room:

After Check-In we ventured on a pub Crawl along the Venice Beach Boardwalk. You guys should have seen my face when we entered the second pub!

Awesome, right?! I spent the next day lying at the beach, virtually not doing anything. Since I’m the kind of person to easily get sunburned this led to this tweet the following day:

Stupid me, right? But well, on we go up the coast to a little town called Pismo Beach, where I spent two nights enjoying the finer things in life.

Good night, #California. A photo posted by Fabio (@nummerus) on

The next day I drove up the coast on Highway 1. Sadly the sky was quite cloudy and fog hung around the coast, the drive was very entertaining though.

I guess life can’t be bad when you have sceneries like that rolling by your window all day and you end up on a place like San Francisco.

I’ve missed you, #SanFrancisco. #SF #california #ontheroad

Sadly, arriving in San Francisco meant to say goodbye to my trusty Mini as well – it’s been over 2300 miles (about 3700 kilometer), we crossed desserts, reached altitudes of over 9600 feet (about 3000 meter) above sea level and found our ways through the maze that is called Los Angeles.
